Can my whole family take ZSAZA?
Yes! ZSAZA Honey is formulated for the whole family, from age 1 and up, with flexible dosing for children and adults. (Honey should never be given to infants under 12 months.)
Our doctor-approved formulations use clinical doses that are effective yet gentle, combining pure honey with clean, food-based nutrients, no synthetics, dyes, or preservatives. We rely on third-party testing for purity and potency, and craft each batch with the same care we give our own families.
How much should each family member take?
Children ages 1 to 3: 1/2 teaspoon daily. Children ages 4-12: 1 teaspoon daily. Adults: 1 to 2 teaspoons daily. Straight from the spoon or with your favorite food or beverage. However it fits your day.
Can I take ZSAZA if I'm pregnant or nursing?
Our ingredients are clinically trusted and Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS), but every pregnancy is different. We always recommend checking with your healthcare provider before adding any new supplement.
Are there any side effects?
ZSAZA is made with clean, food-based ingredients and is designed to be gentle on the stomach, so side effects are extremely rare. Most people experience only the benefits of natural energy, immune support, and overall wellness. Our formulas are doctor-approved, third-party tested, and crafted for everyday use. If you have allergies to bee products or specific nutrients, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before use. Discontinue use if any adverse reactions occur.
Can I take this with other supplements or medications?
ZSAZA is a food-based supplement, but we always recommend consulting your healthcare provider before combining with medications or other supplements, especially if you have health conditions or take prescription medications.
Can I take ZSAZA year-round?
Yes! Our formulas are designed for ongoing wellness support, though some people prefer to take higher servings seasonally or during times of increased stressors or exposure.
Ingredients & Sourcing
Do you use any artificial ingredients or fillers?
Artificial ingredients are only included when it’s the purest, most effective, and most sustainable option. Nutrients like Vitamin A (Retinyl Acetate) and Selenium (Selenomethionine) are bio-identical to what’s found in nature but created for greater stability, precision, and purity, so your body gets the full benefit every time.
Whenever natural sources meet those same standards, like Vitamin D3 (from algae), Zinc Bisglycinate, and our organic botanicals, we always choose them.
We never use artificial flavors, sweeteners, fillers, preservatives, or colors. Every ingredient has a purpose that is clean, effective, and true to nature.
How do I know the ingredients are really cleaner?
Because we asked every supplier the same question, and the deeper we dug, the more we rejected. There’s a lot of greenwashing in the supplement world, and healthy-looking labels rarely tell the full story.
Every ingredient is hand-selected from verified suppliers who meet our strict standards for purity, traceability, and sustainability. We personally review every document and confirm results through independent third-party testing. We know the source, origin, and process behind every nutrient we use. Simply put, no one is stricter, or more determined to get to the truth, than we are.
Are products gluten-free and allergen-free?
Our honey blends do not contain common allergens such as dairy, gluten, soy, or nuts.
Are products vegan / vegetarian?
As honey is considered an animal product, it is not considered vegan. However, all of our added nutrients are from plant-based or bioidentical sources, and our products contain no dairy, eggs, animal-derived gelatin, or vitamins that are typically sourced from animal sources. We are proud to be vegetarian friendly!
Are products non-GMO and organic?
Yes, our added nutrients and botanicals are verified non-GMO, and we use certified organic ingredients whenever possible. Honey is the exception, since bees forage freely and can’t be certified organic or non-GMO in the U.S. The honey is sourced from sustainable, chemical-free, wildflower-rich regions to ensure the honey is as pure and natural as possible.
Do they contain added sugar?
We don’t use any added sugars, only pure, honey from Vermont beekeepers.
Because honey is added to the formula, the FDA requires it to be listed as an “added sugar” on the label, even though it’s a natural, whole food straight from the hive.
Unlike refined sugar, honey provides enzymes, antioxidants, and trace minerals, and it helps support nutrient stability and absorption in every spoonful.
How is honey different than refined sugar in gummies?
Refined sugar is empty calories that spike blood sugar and fade fast. Honey is a functional food, rich in antioxidants, enzymes, and prebiotics that support digestion and immunity while providing steadier energy. In ZSAZA, honey isn’t a sweetener, it’s the nutrient base that helps your body actually absorb what it needs.

What testing do you do on your products?
A lot. Every ingredient we use is independently tested for identity, purity, potency, and microbial safety before it ever reaches our lab. We verify each supplier’s documentation and test again once the formula is blended to confirm that what’s on the label is exactly what’s in the jar.
All ZSAZA products are made in-house under strict GMP-style quality standards and verified by third-party laboratories for heavy metals, microbes, and potency. We never skip a step, because your trust means more than any shortcut.
What is the shelf life of products?
In-house production allows us to make small batches for maximum freshness, quality and potency of added nutrients. We suggest consuming by the “Best By” date on the jar, or within 6 months.
How should I store ZSAZA?
No refrigeration needed, just keep it cool and out of direct sunlight. Because honey preserves beautifully on its own, ZSAZA stays fresh for months, but high heat (above 90°F) can reduce potency and dosing consistency.
How long does one jar last?
Each jar includes 32 adult servings (1 tsp) or 64 child servings (½ tsp). For one adult taking a daily serving, that’s roughly one month’s supply. For families sharing or giving smaller doses to children, a jar can last 2–8 weeks, depending on how it’s used.
Can I mix this with food or drinks?
Absolutely! Spoon it up solo or drizzle over toast, yogurt, or fruit. It’s also delicious in warm (not hot) tea, just keep it below boiling to protect all that good stuff inside.
What if my family doesn't like the taste?
We're confident your family will love ZSAZA's delicious honey taste, but if you're not completely satisfied please let us know! The authentic pure honey and natural ingredients create a taste that feels like a treat, not medicine.

ZSAZA was founded by a mom frustrated by ineffective supplements and a shady industry. What began as a search for something better turned into creating it ourselves, with full transparency and uncompromising standards.
We now craft everything in-house in Vermont, from verified ingredient sourcing to our fourth-generation beekeeping partners. Every ingredient is traceable, third-party tested, and held to the highest standards for efficacy, safety, and sustainability. We’re skeptics first (maybe a little Type A) moms who ask hard questions and would rather do it right than settle for “good enough.”
How do I know you really don't source from China?
Because traceability matters more to us than cutting costs. It’s not part of our marketing strategy, it’s the foundation of our standard. We’ve built real relationships with each of our suppliers and are obsessed with knowing as much as possible about every ingredient. We dug way deeper than most to know where it all comes from, how it’s made, and who stands behind it. And yes, even our packaging meets the same standard of integrity (trust us, it’s not easy to find beautiful packaging that isn’t made in China!)
